Knitting continues on my deadline-project . . . and I’m very nearly finished. (Just a couple more rows, weaving ends, and blocking.)

I can’t wait to wear it (because it’s perfect for summer), and I can’t wait tell you more about it (because I think some of you might want to make one, too). It’s easy to knit, fits great, and has some really fun color blocking options. I’m going to go way out on a limb here . . . but if you’re looking for a cool and swingy summer tank top, I think this one has the Shakerag beat (in my book, at least . . . it has more shape, it’s less boxy, and there’s still plenty of swing) (plus . . . the finishing around the neckline and arm holes is simple and neat).

Anyway. Stay tuned. I’ll share more details and photos in a few weeks . . . as soon as Elizabeth releases the pattern and I’m free to share.

Oh . . . and JoJo wanted to get in on the knitting photo shoot, but it was very hot and I couldn’t get her to go outside with me to pose near my knitting. So she did the next best thing . . . by watching through the window. (Silly dog.) (Although, in this case, very smart to stay inside where the air is cool and much less muggy!)

How about you? What are you working on this week?
