And now . . . without further ado . . . I’m pleased to share with you . . . at last . . . the projects I’ve been (quietly) knitting behind-the-scenes for months now.
Elizabeth Smith’s Tideline Tank.

AND . . .
Elizabeth Smith’s On the Ocean sweater.

I’m sure you’ll want more details (and maybe some extra photos), so click here for my Field Notes on the Tideline Tank . . . and here the Field Notes for my On the Ocean sweater. When Elizabeth offered me the opportunity to knit one of her new designs, I couldn’t pick one over the other. I wanted to knit BOTH of them. And so . . . I did!
Great designs. Beautifully-written patterns. Excellent results.
Just what I expect from Elizabeth Smith! Fun. Stylish. Clever.
Make one.
(Or maybe both.)

They are both beautiful. AND, you look beautiful in them. Congrats on the great finishes.
I can see why you couldn’t decide between the two! They both look great on you.
Two great sweaters! I love the colorblock and the stripes.
These are both very nice, versatile sweaters, and you look great in them. I have longed to make a knit tee for summer, but the truth of the matter is that they just don’t work for me. Too hot for spring/summer, not warm enough for fall/winter. So I admire them, but just don’t make them. You truly did a great job with color choices!
Both look great on you. I was pleased to see that the neckline of On-the-Ocean has a graceful, non-constricting look to it which is the key to most tops for me.I can also see a million variations to the look of this style depending on the fabric/yarn, color treatment of the stripes, length of sleeves, etc. I will probably purchase it. Also like Tideline but tank tops sadly no longer work for me.
The both look great! Love the colors of the On The Ocean.
Oh Kym! Fabulous finishes – both of them. They look wonderful on you. I’m tempted to make one or both!! (I have not knit a summery tank in years). Love the colors you chose for both.
They are both gorgeous, Kym! Well done! (and go you for having two such fun sweaters in your wardrobe!) I love the striped one so much! The shoulders do look amazing!
These are great! Beautiful knits, and so wearable. I especially like the tank top, I think because I could imagine actually wearing it in the summer. The striped sweater is really stylish too – the shape of the shoulders with the narrow sleeves is especially good. Brava!
Classic and wearable designs that look amazing and beautiful! I love the colors you used and the styles are great for almost body type. A couple of years ago I had my eye on a gray with yellow stripes sweater and I have regretted not buying since. I think I will be making one of my own! Thank you. Enjoy your lovely summer sweaters!
