Because . . . yeah.
I finished another Sophie Scarf. That makes . . . 4 . . . since the beginning of the year.
On. Fire. (I tell ya.)
And I’m also pretty sure that . . . well . . . that I’m not done yet!
Because these little scarves are the perfect binge knitting project. Quick. Easy. Neat as a pin. Highly portable. Very wearable. A little bit trendy. Great for gifting. (In fact, this lovely pinky-red one is a gift for my highly-knitworthy sister!)
What more could you want in a knitting project?

How about you? What are you making these days?

Gorgeous, Kym! I have not knit one of these… I think I might have to give it a try!
Your most recent Sophie is lovely! I wonder how many Sophies will ultimately be in your collection?
Well this is serendipity because I was just browsing Ravelry for simple knit and this pattern came up. Then I read that you have knit 4 of them! Guess I know what I will be casting on today 😉
This is pretty snappy in this gorgeous color. I’ve seen a few in stripes lately which show its versatility. Do you remember how long it is taking you by now? I’ve only done one so far.
Love when you find a project you just want to make over and over again. So satisfying!
Lucky sister! I love this one, but I love all of the Sophie’s you have knit. And, yes, you are on fire! I was afraid you were running a temp when I read the post title.
I was *just* thinking earlier today that I really need to make one because it would come in handy right now, when there’s a little bit of a nip in the air but it’s too warm for a full-on scarf or cowl. Hope your sister loves this one!
And I still haven’t finished the first one I started! I think it’s because I stuck it in a cabinet because George was very interested in it at the moment and then I just sort of forgot about it. I need to get it back out and spend some time on it. That’s a great color for your sister!
Your sister is one lucky gal!! Your latest Sophie is so pretty Kym. This is definitely not a knit for me…but maybe for a gift?
How fun to knit a Sophie for your sister. Part of the appeal of the Sophie pattern is that “neat as a pin” look. It holds true for the larger scarf/shawl version.
