And then . . . I was spending every available moment out in the garden again. Well. Not really every moment. But things happen fast in the garden in May, and I’m mainly just running around like a chicken trying to figure out what needs to be done next. And loving it. It’s great practice for me . . . in letting go of perfection and embracing wonder.
Most of my camera roll is all about time in the garden. But there’s some other stuff, too. Here. Take a look! It’s all there, in my camera roll . . .
(As usual, this is a gallery. You can click in for a slideshow of sorts. And if you’re curious about one of the photos, you can hover in the center and the name of the photo – which includes some sort of “clue” to what it is/what it’s about will appear; elusive but helpful if you’re curious.)

Ooo! Tomatoes this year!! How fun! It is almost like nature flips a switch and it is all suddenly ON! I love it!
Ooh, that viburnum is gorgeous and I love the green of the Douglas fir. We haven’t planted tomatoes yet because the soil temp. was too cold here, then we had frost. and now it’s supposed to 98 here for the next few days. That just sounds like torture for tomatoes, so we’ll wait until the temps are back to normal.
Beautiful gardens as usual! I need to do better with keeping a garden journal and sketch of plant placement. Yours looks very detailed.
SO GORGEOUS!!!
I see a lot of beauty emergencies in these photos! I am behind in my garden journal, this is a good reminder to get caught up. Give JoJo a kiss on the head from me.
Your garden looks so nice. Digging in the soil is such a boost.
Love all your pictures – especially the stone owls! And JoJo. And Douglas Fir. And Grubby Gardener.
The Douglas fir photo really caught my eye.
