And . . . just like that . . . we shift from Thanksgiving bounty to full on winter!
Here’s what my camera roll looks like these days. (I’ve been steeped in family photos lately, as I create the “Fam-Cal” for 2026 — my annual gift to us all, so I included a couple photos of my kids just for fun. I also want to note that Tom took the photo of the super moon.)
Enjoy my snow (it looks like there’s plenty more coming . . .).

Great camera roll, Kym. Yes, I am enjoying your snow from afar which is my favorite way to enjoy snow. 🙂 Of course, I love the picture of the dogs looking out the window at the snow. I would be right there with them. The super moon picture is also very cool. I hope you enjoyed your time with the family.
The neighborhood Bumble is excellent! Ha! That super moon was quite spectacular here as well! (Tom’s photo is much better than mine was!)
Your snow looks so beautiful. We have NO snow. Not a flake. The mountains have a passable showing, but they sure would like a TON more at the resorts. We were cloudy for the super moon so I’m happy to see Tom’s great picture. Happy Winter!
We don’t have quite that much snow… but we’re expecting more this week, too. Ah, family calendars! I used to do them all the time. Maybe it’s time again!!
Is that a Michigan potato??? We’ve had plenty of snow and cold weather down here in Illinois! Stay warm!
Great photos! I hope JoJo is feeling better.
It’s a winter wonderland over there! Your house looks gorgeous at night with all of those lights. And JoJo with her face in the snow reminds me so much of Dixie, she loved snow. I hope the family calendar project is done soon.
Is that an almost Michigan-shaped potato? Love seeing the kids and the pups (who were clearly entranced by something outside the window). We skipped right into deep winter here, too, and I’m counting the days until we head south and my skin stops drying and cracking.
I like seeing your snowscape photos, and I’m especially glad that don’t have to deal with that much snow here yet. I also really like those picturesque icicles in the pine tree! Your kids look quite grown up and your house looks nice and cozy
Oh that Bumble! Love, love, love it.
