At the beginning of the month, I asked you to tell me about your favorite summer movies so we could design our own Summer Vibes Film Festival . . . and you responded with some really great movies!

I’ve sorted your suggestions and recommendations, and tried to set them up in (very loosely defined) categories. Most of these movies are currently available to stream . . . somewhere. And . . . if you do feel like heading to the actual movie theater . . . I highly, highly recommend the Barbie movie. It’s a lot of fun! Funny, charming, entertaining . . . and you may even want to have a tissue handy at the end. I’ve seen it twice — once with Tom, and once with my sister — and I’ll probably see it again at some point. (If you want to watch it at home, you’ll be able to purchase it through Amazon Prime beginning September 5 for $24.99. And if you can wait until late September, I understand it will be available for streaming on HBO/Max.)
