I’m in a rush to post today, so I decided it’s time for a quick “Lightning Round” . . . where I ask myself questions and then answer them, too. Here goes . . .
Most recent finish?
SURPRISE! It’s a Sophie Scarf! (And, yeah. I’m deep into Binge Territory now with these things.)

Knit anything that maybe flew under the radar here on the blog?
Yep. I knit these fingerless mitts for Erin between “Unraveled Wednesdays.” They were so quick I never blogged about them! (Although I did sneak in a photo in my “camera roll” post yesterday.)

So what’s next?
Well, I’m joining the MDK Bang-Out-A-Sweater madness and knitting a Waffle Pullover. (But don’t expect me to bang-it-out in a month.) Won’t officially cast on until Friday, but I have been playing with my color options. (And, yeah. I have made my decision.)

So. What’s with that random skein of yarn in the top photo?
Oh. That? It . . . ummmmm . . . might be another [mumble-mumble] [ahem] Sophie Scarf . . .

How about you? What are you working on?

(Details to come on the finished Sophie Scarf and Touchdown mitts. Just not today.)

Ooo! I like both blip options for your sweater! (and go you on your Sophie Scarf kick! I think you picked a fine thing to binge on… especially this winter!)
Love the colors for your BOAS – and what a fine time to have wool in your lap (as I keep saying). Erin’s mitts are great. Enjoy your binging (I see that Carole is joining you).
That waffle stitch is a quick one. I made my grandson fingerless mitts using it and they were done in a flash.
I was wondering what Sophie might look like in a multicolor yarn, so thank you for continuing to binge and answering my question. Looking forward to seeing the scarf and the start of your BOAS!
Y’know, another name for a binge might be theme and variation — (inspired by Bonny’s comment.)
I noticed those mitts in your previous post! My knitting has really been slacking, but I might “bang out” with the rest of you… on my Farfalle cardigan (also not likely to be finished in a month). I love your colors & looking forward to seeing which way you go!
Those are such Kym colors! I’ll be excited to hear which combo you chose. Am I surprised there’s another Sophie Scarf in the works. Not one bit — and you should knit a hundred of them if it makes you happy. Follow your bliss, as they say!
My knitting is looking pretty similar. A Sophie Scarf on the needles and I’m ready to cast on for my Waffle Pullover. I do have socks on the needles, too, but the pull of the Sophie is STRONG.
I cast on a Melt the Ice hat on Monday.

I was swatching for the MDK KAL until this came on my radar. I’ll jump in on that when I finish the hat.
What pretty colors for that Waffle Pullover. I don’t think you could go wrong with either combination. Knit on with Sophie. She suits you well.
I like both blip options as well! And also those Caladium ones over on MDK. Have some obstacles to banging out a sweater this year but might be able to do some swatching. Made a Sophie scarf a while back in a beautiful yarn in a flattering color but didn’t plan well enough and made it too short. May get back to knitting another one someday. Love yours!
