Spring. Definitely trying hard to show up. Just not quite . . . reliably so. (Yet.)
Still.
My camera roll has natural color again. And sunglasses. Ball caps. Shades of green. Blue skies. Blooms.
Spring is coming. Nature does not disappoint.
See? Here’s proof . . . from my camera roll.

Yes, the weather is springing forward without a doubt. A bit cool here right now, but to be expected in spring weather. Your pictures show lots of sunshine. It’s the best part of spring down here. Growing mushrooms? I used to do a lot of that. It’s fun, isn’t it?
I have just been basking in the blue skies… and even the spring rain… it has been an amazing spring thus far! And mushrooms! Oh my!! I am having a bit of envy here… Steve is ultra allergic to mushrooms so they are a no go here… but I love them so much and miss eating them!
You have all that beauty to look forward to and we have only the tail end. Nature abounds in beauty. I loved Women Holding Things which a friend gave me for my birthday (too). I love Tom’s sign!
You’ve got quite an impressive clump of hellebores and the Pondmaster toad (frog?) is impressive. Those pink oyster mushrooms look pretty and elegant and I always love JoJo in the sun!
It sure is getting colorful out there! Tell Tom I love his protest sign!
Oh wow, mushrooms!! Are they really that pink? I was happy to see some “good” red hats at the No Kings protest in Philadelphia — and some pussy hats, too!
Great shots Kym! Love the frog, love the blooms, love Tom’s sign and yours and that cake slice looks mighty good! I hope you post about the mushroom growing experience. Fletch tried it once with mixed results. We gave a kit to Zhongren (Mailing’s Dad) one Christmas, but never heard how it worked out (or didn’t).
Wow, what a wonderful camera roll of spring renewal and energy! I love that variety of hellebores in the photo at the top of the post and it looks like you’ll have daffodils pretty soon. As I look out the window right now it’s SNOWING and your photos are much nicer to see.
Oh, the frog is my favorite! And here, although the temps are in the 70’s, our wintery amaryllis is still bursting forth with enthusiasm. What are we to think?? Jo Jo, of course goes with all seasons.
What a great view from your photos. I too like the frog. The protest signs are great. Thank you for that.
