I am so not a “Halloween person,” but here I am . . . wishing you a day filled with all treats and no tricks.
What’s your favorite Halloween treat?
(Mine? Twix bars!)

Almond Joys or M&Ms with almonds…..
I’m not much of a Halloween person either. I always found it to be a pain in the ass to get costumes together and rush around after work to get everyone ready for trick or treating. I sure don’t miss any of that! But I do enjoy a Baby Ruth!
Hello YOU! If it is OTC chocolate… Reese’s Peanut butter cups. But!! If I am very lucky then I have some Romolo’s handcrafted chocolate pumpkins filled with peanut butter! (It is a true experience… oh my!) XO

Reese cups.
$100000 bars – I guess they’re now 100 Grand bars. Also — eek, I’m really preoccupied about getting ready for a trip we’re taking. I wasn’t even thinking about today being Halloween till now.
I’m not a Halloween-er at all. But yesterday I paid my quarterly property taxes and the borough clerk had a bowl of candy out. For the cost of my taxes, I did not feel bad at all for digging through her stash for four snack size Reese’s cups.
My mother and I used to make popcorn balls for Halloween when I was a kid. Good memories. However, I am not a Halloween person _at _all, and no one in my neighborhood goes trick or treating, which is fine with me. They all have parties these days. Up there, too? I can no longer eat chocolate (wah, wah) because it creates a lot of reflux for me, yet another vicissitude of aging. Having said all of that, I could really get into any kind of dark chocolate if I could still have it.
Not a Halloween person, and there is no house-to-house trick or treating here (no streetlights, most of the houses are empty this time of year). I’ve stopped buying ‘hopeful’ candy because of course I just ate it all. And by all, I mean MnMs.
No Halloween love here either! Though e are going to help Doug’s very active 97 year old aunt out this evening. She gets around 75 she said. I think I would go for the Reese’s or a good old mound bar.
Great question. Snickers.
I am happy to eat almost anything chocolate, except maybe Mounds/Almond Joy. (But I haven’t tried one in years. Might need to try one now — for science.)
I enjoy seeing the kids out having a good time. My favorite OTC (to borrow from Kat) candy is a plain Hershey bar – snack size and preferably cold from the freezer.
