I don’t know about you, but I have a lot of things on my to-do list this week. Mostly . . . cooking-related kinds of things. Quite a few household chores, too. Some errands. (And. . . I’m still trying to get those bulbs planted!!!)
There’s plenty of time for all of it, sure.
But I thought it might help me focus . . . if I had something nice to listen to while I work.
So I built myself a playlist of music that makes me feel warm-and-cozy, motivated for the celebration ahead, and feeling. . . grateful. (My sister helped me. When it comes to playlists, she is a master, and I’m grateful for her contributions.)
Because I thought you, too, might like something nice to listen to this week, too, I’ll share.
Here it is . . . my Week of Gratitude playlist. For all of us, whether we’re rolling out our pie crust, preparing for guests, traveling . . . or none of those things!
Music. . . fills us with joy. And joy? Why that’s gratitude!
Here’s to a good week . . . full of gratitude.
(And some good songs to keep us moving, too.)
“Joy is the simplest form of gratitude.”
— Karl Barth
Thank you Kym. What a lovely gift on a Monday morning
Thank you for that playlist! (and thank you for that gratitude reminder!) Happy Monday to you! XO
What a great playlist! Thanks so much for sharing Kym.
That is a lovely playlist and I thank you for sharing!
That’s a fantastic playlist! Or what I still like to call a mixtape 🙂 (And what a fun thing to do with your sis.) Enjoy the preparations this week!
I always love your playlists, thank you for this one! And good luck with all of The Things.
I always appreciate your playlists — maybe they’ll finally be what gets me to sign up for Spotify! This is another great one, perfect to listen to while baking this week.
Thanks for sharing your gratitude playlist! I look forward to listening to it! I am thankful for your inspiration in fitness and reading suggestions! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks, Kym, for the playlist. Maybe one day I will get on Spotify but I need to get out from under a mountain of digital detritus at the moment – online overdue housekeeping weighs just as much as overdue physical housekeeping (but unfortunately, easier to ignore).
Thank you for the playlist – and the vibe! I spied Crowded Table and John Denver and then Sara Bareilles – xxoo.
Thank you Kym. The playlist will be just the thing. Our week is going to be fairly quiet but still I’d like to get a few things done.
