We’re in the midst of a really lovely fall here in my corner of the world. Long. Lingering. It’s chilly. It feels like fall. It looks like fall. Every day when I go out with JoJo for our walk, I’m just stunned by the color in the trees!
C’mon along.
Let’s do a little leaf-peeping . . .
right here in my neighborhood!
(Especially because it’s supposed to rain and bluster all day long, so this may be our best chance.)
It’s kind of an embarrassment of riches this year!
Every tree I look at . . . becomes my favorite tree.
The ones I love best are the ones with multiple colors in the same leaf or on the same tree. And especially all shades of red. But, my goodness! They’re all beautiful, aren’t they?
Fall . . . is so fleeting.
Get out there and enjoy it while you can!

Beautiful! I, too, love the trees that are multiple colors. Our trees are gradually turning. Some don’t seem as vibrant as in prior years (perhaps our lack of rain this summer?), but they are still so pretty. I hope not all your leaves are gone after the rain today!
Thanks for sharing! I don’t know if it’s because of our summer drought, but our leaves are either still green or have turned brown and dropped. We’ll see what happens in the next couple of weeks, but it was lovely to see your neighborhood leaves!
We are having summer temps again, lots of smoke in the air, and no rain so I am not sure we will get those beautiful fall colors this year. Thanks for sharing yours.
I have been enjoying every second that I can go “leaf peeping”. Like Vera said, maybe not QUITE as bright as some years, but maybe we aren’t at peak season yet. Here’s hoping THAT is the case.
I’ve been awestruck this year, too. The colors are more vivid this year than any in recent memory, especially the oranges & reds. We had some snow showers this morning, and there’s a gale warning for the next couple of days, but we’re supposed to see 60s for a few days heading into next weekend… so it’s really nice to savor autumn as much as possible!
Looks wonderful. Love the beginnings of sweater-wearing season. So cosy. Chloe
Thanks for sharing your beautiful autumn leaves! The trees here are nearing peak and I can’t get enough of them. Hope you have a nice week!
Beautiful Kym! Despite the drought we’ve got some glorious color here too. Enjoying it while we can. xoxo
These trees are all spectacular! We’ve got some beauties here, too, and yesterday Dale and I took a drive around to enjoy them. We even saw a cranberry bog being harvested!
Love all the colors of the trees near you. I took a short ride yesterday to mail some mail for my father and took a few pictures while out. Everytime I’m driving around I want to stop and take pictures but the roads are too busy. So glad I got to take a few.
Love all the colors of the trees near you. Everytime I’m driving around I want to stop and take pictures but the roads are too busy. I was finally about to take a few.
Stunning! This is my absolute favorite time of the year! XO
Your trees are more colorful than we get around here where everything is more on the golden side. Colors in the valley have only begun to change, so there will be some peeping to do soon!
What gorgeous fall photos. Fall in Nebraska has been more muted this year. The maples have turned red but many other leaves are either dusty dark dead green or brown. I did see some beautiful color in Connecticut thought. Thanks for sharing.
