I am celebrating.
Because . . . Look!
It’s a Pumpkin Party!
And . . . cute as all get out!
After absolutely languishing in my “craft drawer” for SEVEN years, I have finally . . . FINALLY . . . finished (the damn thing). I’m kinda dying from the cuteness here.
And it’s perfect for my entry way table, too. (Imagine it surrounded by other charming Halloween décor items.)
I am so, so relieved to have it done!
(For more photos and additional details, check out my field notes.)
How about you? What are you making these days?
Bravo, Kym! You’re inspiring me to get out my two long-languishing projects, a spindle spin of laceweight and a fiber-inspired cross stitch sampler. But instead I’m spinning and plotting my next sweater knit!
That is so charming. I love the tall grey pumpkin. Good job on getting it done.
It is charming and I’m so glad you decided to get it out and finish it! I might leave it just like that so people can see how sweet it is!
Huzzah! It is going to be a lovely addition to your autumnal decor. Myha ds are full of knitting and my head is full of sewing.
Perfect timing for your mojo to turn up! It will make your Halloweening all the sweeter!
I love it! Was it really 7 years ago? I guess…our initial adventure was to be in 2012!
It’s adorable and now i want to make one!
I love it! Congratulations on finishing this project but I can’t believe it’s been 7 years since you visited!
Me again. I just bought the kit!
Your pumpkin mat is adorable and perfect for October!
What a finish! when we last saw those felt blobs I had a hard time envisioning pumpkins … what a difference some stitching, more tiny felt pieces, and lots of creativity make!
Adorable. Perfect fit for your table, too!
Hooray for finishing such a darling project. Sometimes it is just the right moment. It’s perfect for your table.
Too darned cute, Kym! I love it! Bravo to you… it not only looks good, I bet it feels good to have it done as well!
Nicely stitched! (One quick question… how was it stitching through those fused pieces?)
