JoJo . . . just can’t resist . . . when I bring out my latest knitting project + my phone. She just HAS TO be . . . involved!
So here she is . . . eager to introduce you to my (our?) latest project . . . the Hitch on the Move shawl. (Which is a very, very addictive and fun-to-knit little project!)
I shopped-my-own-stash for the yarn, and I’m very pleased to finally find a suitable project for the variegated yarn (Mad Tosh DK in the Earl Gray colorway). I’ve had it forever . . . but not in a quantity enough to really do anything with. Until now. And it pairs really well with this Briar Rose Whisper I’ve had knocking around in my stash . . . without a plan-for-use either. (Nice how it works out that way sometimes.)
So far, so good!
How about YOU? What are you making this week?
Oh! I love those yarns! (and how well they coordinate with the divine Miss JoJo!) She is the perfect ham! XO
LOVE it! Mine is going to be in shades of brown (Wish You Were Beer and Weathervane) and I’m so itching to start – especially after seeing Kat’s and Bonny’s finishes…and now your start! Maybe I will let myself start once I get through the lace part of my Shakerag Skirt…
I love the colors you chose, and JoJo’s presence always makes lovely knitting projects even better! She looks like she is quite happy with your Hitch on the Move!
JoJo looks so sweet! I love the colors of your shawl and how they match JoJo so well.
Really love this! Glad Jo Jo does too!
My mojo is on administrative leave… or something. I miss knitting, but apparently not enough to pick up my languishing Hummelo cardigan (a summer sweater, hahahaha). I shall return! Eventually.
You know I am happy to see JoJo any time she wants to pose for a photo — she is very photogenic! The shawl is lovely, too. Those are great colors together, and it looks like it’s going to be big and warm and squishy when it’s done.
Those yarns look made for eachother!
That looks great, Kym! I haven’t pressed BUY NOW on that pattern… yet. It sure looks intriguing and I’m certain that I, too, have suitable stash yarn. 😉
Isn’t it such a stupendous achievement to shop one’s stash and find EXACTLY the right yarn(s) for a new project? It will be beautiful, but watch out that JoJo doesn’t steal it for your winter walks — those are HER colors!
I love your colors. I have some yarn I bought to make that eventually.
Jojo goes very well with your Hitch. Those colors are lovely and Jojo is simply ADORABLE.
Well those just look MADE for each other, don’t they?!
Your stash yarn works out well together. It’s so nice when that happens. Hitch on the Move looks like a nice project for the transition into Fall.
