“Play keeps us vital and alive. It gives us an enthusiasm for life that is irreplaceable. Without it, life just doesn’t taste good.”
— Lucia Capcchione
Sometimes . . . when we’re busy or feeling overwhelmed or just otherwise adulting, it’s hard to immerse ourselves in revelry and PLAY. But today, find something that feels like playing to you. And then . . . enjoy yourself!
Taste . . . how good life is.

If you’re wondering what this “advent calendar” is all about, you can read my “intro” post here.
I am currently playing with having plants inside. It is fun to move them around and figure out what will work. I got a moisture meter to give me more information. It feels playful and the stakes are pretty low but I do look forward to seeing if I can win this game đ
To me, my stitching and knitting is playing. Going on road adventures is playing. I guess I’m pretty good at “playing”. LOL
Gonna knit all through the Vikings game this afternoon. Now, THAT’s playing!
I’m playing with games on the Jaquie Lawson advent calendar!
Did you know that in our wedding vows Dale and I promised to play with each other as much as possible? It’s important to play and have fun!
I’d like to think that my knitting and spinning is play, particularly when I’m trying things with different colors and textures. It’s fun, and it’s definitely not work!
