The Studio Tunic
Pattern: Studio Tunic from Sew Liberated
Fabric: Details unknown; a piece of cotton/linen blend I’ve had in my stash for a million years; I used a contrast scrap for the small, inner pocket and the back loop.
Finished: September 3, 2022
Comments: I just knew I’d make this the minute I saw Meg’s post on Instagram. It’s the perfect tunic! Comfortable. Functional. Adaptable. Plus . . . those pockets! As always, the little details on Sew Liberated patterns really make all the difference (like that back hanger loop — just a little thing, but it elevates the entire garment). The directions are detailed and easy to follow. All the finishing details might seem fussy, but they are SO worth the time and effort. The inside view is good enough for 4-H State Fair judging! I know I’ll be making more Studio Tunics.
