Continuing to let my camera roll tell the story of my seasons . . .
I’ll provide the photos, you can fill in the blanks!
(It’s a photo gallery, so you can click in on any photo to scroll through the rest.)
=====
But. Before you head to the gallery, I have a little announcement to make! Beginning . . . today . . . I’m going to be taking a little “vacation” from blogging. Not forever. And I don’t plan to step entirely away. I’m just going to step back a bit and blog . . . less. I’ll still be here for Read With Us. And to share poetry on the third Thursdays. I’ll still pop in on Wednesdays now and then to show you what I’ve been making. I’ll share my Top Five Books. But, for at least a while, I need a break from near-daily blogging. And before you ask or start wondering . . . I’m healthy – physically, mentally, and emotionally. And so is everyone in my family. There is nothing alarming going on in my life. I just . . . need to figure out what I feel like blogging about. And how often. And a break . . . is my best way to figure that out.
Now . . . off you go . . . to see what’s on my camera roll!

Hooray for a successfully turned heel and a sunny No Kings Day! I think my favorites might be the shadow and the rainbows (and JoJo, of course).
It looks like you are having a very full season. Enjoy your rest and reset.
Ooo! Do I spot a new sweater? (I really love a good marled sweater!!) Good for you on this break! XO
Such pretty pictures Kym. I hope you enjoy your break! Periodically I step away from the computer completely. And it feels good! I like your shelf top photo – that little dish of stones is so pretty.
Looks like your weather Saturday was perfect and warmer than ours! I really enjoy seeing your photos and I love those green peace sign earrings! I get the whole blog break thing, I hope taking time away will give you a good direction for what you want to do next.
I hope things become clear. I’ve been really aware this year of how the light changes in the fall. Not just less of it, though that’s huge around here, but the angle and quality is different too. Thanks for the photos!
Is that a little tweed in the sock yarn? It looks so pretty! Haqppy break!
What a gorgeous weekend! And I also love those peace earrings. You will be missed but completely understandable. Enjoy that free or newly used time! xo
Your pictures are always wonderful to see as they are always full of color and nature and all.good.things. When you lead a busy, full life and feel the need to chronicle your every move, mood and thought, the fun can wear off. I enjoy, and will still enjoy, the time you take to put into your future posts. Enjoy the break, but don’t go far.
xo
Enjoy your break, Kym!
Hi Kym. Enjoy this time “away”. Totally understandable. But, you will be missed. Peace.
Oh, that art desk looks a little too clean and tidy! Looks like you need to spend time there.
A break sounds like a good respite for now.
The garden looks lovely and a lot less dry than around here. And a great No Kings Day!
Love all the pictures. Yours and Tom’s smiley faces are probably my favorite, this time. We understand about the blog break. Sooner or later, life requires a reset. I hope you find it refreshing, and thank you for predicting a few knitting project pics every now and then. My favorite, of course:).
Sounds like you’re headed for a little blog “wintering” — no problem with that! I think we all need to do that from time to time. Thanks for giving us another glimpse into your recent life with these photos (how much is that doggie in the window, BTW?).
Rest and recharge. Great photos.
