Christmas isn’t a season. It’s a feeling.
— Edna Ferber
When I was a little girl, everything – absolutely everything – about the lead-up to Christmas was magical to me! The music. The Christmas specials on TV. The sparkle. The “wishbook” catalogs. The treats. Even . . . the commercials on TV were magical to me back then.
Things don’t feel quite so . . . exciting . . . to me these days when it comes to Christmastime. And especially not TV commercials! But then . . . I saw this one from Waitrose (a UK grocery chain), and . . . well. It kinda changed my mind. So . . .
Today, I offer you the Simple Gift of . . . MAGIC.
Enjoy!
May your December be filled with Simple Gifts . . . and MAGIC.

I’ll continue adding more Simple Gifts for you to open throughout the month of December, so stay tuned. (There is no schedule. The gifts will just . . . appear . . . from time to time.)

This certainly made me smile, and I have never seen such a long commercial! Cooking for someone is love, I agree with Waitrose. Why isn’t it considered a love language?
Lovely… just lovely! Have you caught the Aldi UK holiday commercials? (The puns are delicious! Ha!)
So adorable that commercial. But my take away was who designed that gorgeous set of stripes on his shawl (so unique) and the beautiful the color of Kiera’s. There’s a U.S. commercial with Ken Jeong with equally interesting stripes. When you have a stash the size of a store to whittle down, you tend to notice these things (LOL).
So sweet and so perfect for a season of hope. I loved the hand knits, too. Tis the season for warmth, joy and love! xo
What a nice start to my day — now off to do some baking.
Like Margene, I was impressed with the knitwear, too. Thanks for sharing!
